No space is too small for a Garden

From the shop – Tom’s top 5!

The Small Garden’s Landscape Designer, Tom shares his Top 5 picks from the shop…

1. CANDLES

I love these vintage inspired candles to set the mood for any indoor or outdoor gathering. Made from soy wax and using lead free wicks these Australian made candles offer a safe alternative to ambient lighting. It is hard to convey the subtle but addictive scents of these candles, however I’m sure after you smell them you will be just as hooked as me.

2. VINTAGE LOUNGERS

My choice to add a little flair to any indoor or outdoor area is this pair of Palms Springs inspired, vintage loungers. Made from solid metal powdercoated frames these chairs offer functionality and style at the same time. These loungers come with special outdoor foam and high quality UV stable fabric making these items the star inside or out.

3. MACRAME PLANTERS

Hanging planters are all the rage at the moment and these macramé planters are beautifully handmade in Australia using woven cotton. Decorative and colourful clay beads add zing to these 70′s inspired planters. Plant with potted colour or fern varieties to add a spot of greenery to your indoor or outdoor space.

4. TREE SWING

Get outside and tie this handmade timber swing to a tree in your back garden. This will provide hours of fun for both kids and adults alike. The disc shape offers no hard edges to harm little ones and comes in a variety of hand painted designs.

5. BUNNY SCULPTURE

Outdoor sculptures make a great addition to any garden. Often garden sculptures are not readily used because of their scale and price however these laser cut bunnies are a great solution. Standing at 600mmm tall they’ll make a statement wherever they are planted. A must for any outdoor space plus the kids will love them too!
